On September 10, 1951 at Shibe Park in Philadelphia lightweights Gil Turner and former champion Ike Williams met in the main event. Turner upset Williams stopping him in the 10th round. Bout stopped with Williams helpless on the ropes. Offered here is an original wire photo from this fight depicting 4th round action.
