On August 31, 1984 at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas WBC Heavyweight Champion Tim Witherspoon defended his title against Pinklon Thomas. Thomas won a majority 12 round decision and took the title. On The undercard Michael Dokes won a unanimous 10 round decision over Mike Jameson. David Bey won a unanimous 12 round decision over Greg Page. Offered here is a very scarce, original, on site broadside advertising the event.
