HISTORY: Muhammad Ali fought Jimmy Young on April 30, 1976 at the Capitol Centre in Landover, Maryland. Ali defeated Young by decision after 15 rounds to successfully defend his World Heavyweight Title. It was not a strong effort by Ali and some ringside observers actually thought Young won the fight. Offered here is an action photograph from this fight which has been signed by Jimmy Young. From the collection of Tom Space, an amateur fighter himself, and eventually very involved in the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame as both a member and Historian.
